Hikes are usually of 14-20 km but inside Kathmandu valley almost all hiking are of 16-17 km and it will take you 6-7 hours walk to complete your hiking.

Namoboudha is just 38 km east from Kathmandu on the altitude of 1750 m located in Kavre district.It is the popular Buddhist monastery which carries its own historical importance and belief.It is believed that Buddha sacrificed his body to old hungry Tigress and her cubs to get rid of hunger and make them alive. Since then,it is taken as a holy place for Buddhists. In order to reach there we start our hike from Dhulikhel and follow the uphill trail. We will move through different small beautiful villages observing ancient and traditional houses and lifestyle.The hiking trail is fully populated by the unique culture and tradition of Tamang people.
