Annapurna Base Camp
Annapurna Mountain is situated in North-Central Nepal which is bounded by two gorges i.e. the Kali Gandaki Gorge on the west and Marshyangdi on the north east. Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain in the world above sea level. The entire circuit area is protected by the first and largest conservation area Annapurna Conservation Area; a home to several world class trekkers.
There are 3 major routes in the Annapurna region: Jomsom Trek, Annapurna Base Camp and the Annapurna Circuit. Annapurna region is very famous among trekkers. Annapurna Base Camp is easily accessible. With high mountains and villages, sufficient guest house in the hills Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular and beautiful trekking areas of Nepal.
